Desert Pines Jaguars (Las Vegas, NV) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Amplus Academy Archers (Las Vegas, NV), 2-0 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Desert Pines upgrades its record to 17-2 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Silverado (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Skyhawks in a 4A Mountain bout on Monday, January 23. The Skyhawks go into the bout with a record of 9-10. Silverado lost 48-34 in their recent league bout against Arbor View (Las Vegas, NV)

Next up, the Archers play the GV Christian Guardians (Henderson, NV) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 23. Amplus Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Guardians go into the bout with a 7-9 record after their 62-23 league win over Beaver Dam (Littlefield, AZ).
