Louisiana High School Basketball - Plainview knocked off by Anacoco

The Anacoco Indians basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Plainview Hornets to 55 in the Indians non-league triumph on Friday.

The Indians now sport a 16-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oak Hill for a B District 4 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Anacoco will battle a Rams team coming off a 58-25 league win over Elizabeth (Elizabeth, LA). The Rams record now stands at 27-8.

The Hornets (8-14) will now prepare for their contest against Fairview (Grant, LA). The Panthers enter the C District 5 contest with a 29-7 record. In their last contest, Fairview ran past Reeves (Reeves, LA), 88-59, in a league contest.
