The Avon Falcons (Avon, CT) basketball crushed the visiting East Catholic Eagles (Manchester, CT), 59-33 in Friday's non-league test.
The Falcons (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Tolland (Tolland, CT). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, Tolland walloped Lewis Mills (Burlington, CT), 30-21, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Maloney for a non-league test on Monday, January 23. East Catholic will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 41-19 non-league win over Hartford Public (Hartford, CT). The Spartans record now stands at 5-5.
