New York High School Basketball - Schenectady trounced by Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake

The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans routed the visiting Schenectady Patriots basketball team by a final score of 57-33 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Fonda-Fultonville Braves (Fonda, NY) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 24. Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake will attempt to move on its 6-8 season record. The Braves enter the game with a 9-4 record after their 60-16 league win over Fort Plain (Fort Plain, NY).

With the defeat, Schenectady moves to 1-11 on the year. The Patriots travel to Coxsackie-Athens (Coxsackie, NY) to face the Riverhawks in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 25. The Riverhawks enter the game with a record of 5-2.
