The Carolina Academy Trojans basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Calhoun Falls Charter Blue Flashes to 49 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now sport a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chapman for a AAA Region 3 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Carolina Academy will meet a Panthers team coming off a 55-35 league win over Broome (Spartanburg, SC). The Panthers record now stands at 6-10.

The Blue Flashes (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Ware Shoals (Ware Shoals, SC). The Hornets enter the A Region 2 contest with a 0-8 record.
