The Hempfield Black Knights basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the visiting Cedar Crest Falcons to 20 in the Black Knights league victory on Friday.

The Black Knights now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wilson for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21. Hempfield will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 43-29 non-league win over Conrad Weiser (Robesonia, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-7.

The Falcons (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Penn Manor (Millersville, PA). The Comets come into the Lancaster-Lebanon 1 contest with a 2-6 record.
