The Central Dragons basketball team (Martinsburg, PA), was nudged 60-57 in Friday's league battle with the host Somerset Eagles (Somerset, PA)
The Eagles now possess a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greater Johnstown for a Laurel Highlands battle on Monday, January 23. Somerset will confront a Trojans team coming off a 52-41 league loss to Penn Cambria (Cresson, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 6-8.
The Dragons (4-10) will now prepare for their battle against Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA). The Lions come into the Laurel Highlands battle with a 10-2 record. In their last battle, Chestnut Ridge was nudged by Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, PA), 46-31, in a league battle.
