The Rossview Hawks (Clarksville, TN) basketball nipped the host Cheatham County Central Cubs (Ashland City, TN), 52-50 in Friday's non-league test.
The Hawks (15-2) will now prepare for their test against West Creek (Clarksville, TN). The Coyote go into the 4A District 13 test with a 2-11 record. In their last test, West Creek got by Northeast (Clarksville, TN), 49-28, in a league test.
The Cubs now own a 19-4 record. They play next when they travel to White House-Heritage for a 2A District 9 test on Tuesday, January 24. Cheatham County Central will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 45-23 league loss to Harpeth (Kingston Springs, TN). The Patriots record now stands at 7-13.
