The Kuemper Knights (Carroll, IA) basketball crushed the host Creston Panthers (Creston, IA), 70-44 in Friday's league test.
The Knights (9-8) will now prepare for their test against Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA). The Titans go into the Hawkeye Ten test with a 11-3 record. In their last test, Lewis Central walloped Omaha Westside (Omaha, NE), 36-23, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to Atlantic for a Hawkeye Ten test on Monday, January 23. Creston will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 49-44 league win over St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 10-5.
