In Friday's non-league outing, the East Hamilton Hurricanes (Ooltewah, TN) basketball squad felled the visiting Hamilton Heights Christian Academy Hawks (Chattanooga, TN), by a margin of 48-36.
The Hurricanes (11-6) will now prepare for their outing against Soddy Daisy (Soddy Daisy, TN). The Trojans go into the 3A District 6 outing with a 13-10 record. In their last outing, Soddy Daisy thwarted Hixson (Hixson, TN), 58-10, in a league outing.
The Hawks now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they travel to Brainerd for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 28. Hamilton Heights Christian Academy will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 54-20 league loss to Polk County (Benton, TN). The Panthers record now stands at 5-11.
