Geneva (Boerne, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting John Paul II Guardians (New Braunfels, TX), 75-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Geneva upgrades its record to 22-5 on the season. The host Hill Country Christian School of Austin (Austin, TX) to play the Knights in a TAPPS 4A District 3 bout on Friday, January 27. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 14-10. Hill Country Christian School of Austin lost 47-34 in their recent league bout against Incarnate Word Academy (Corpus Christi, TX)

Next up, the Guardians play the John Paul II Centurions (Corpus Christi, TX) in a TAPPS 4A District 3 bout, on Monday, January 23. John Paul II will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Centurions go into the bout with a 6-18 record after their 33-24 league win over Texas School for the Deaf (Austin, TX).
