The Godwin Eagles basketball team (Richmond, VA), was nudged 46-42 in Friday's league battle with the visiting John Marshall Justices (Richmond, VA)
The Justices now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Freedom for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 21. John Marshall will battle a Eagles team coming off a 67-29 league win over Forest Park (Woodbridge, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-6.
The Eagles (10-6) will now prepare for their battle against J.R. Tucker (Henrico, VA). The Tigers come into the Colonial battle with a 2-12 record.
