Hadley Luzerne Eagles (Lake Luzerne, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Salem Generals (Salem, NY), 55-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Hadley Luzerne upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Eagles host Argyle (Argyle, NY) to play the Scots in a Section 2 Adirondack III bout on Friday, January 27. The Scots go into the bout with a record of 2-11. Argyle lost 35-34 in their recent non-league bout against Lake George (Lake George, NY)

Next up, the Generals play the Lake George Warriors (Lake George, NY) in a Section 2 Adirondack I bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Salem will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 35-34 non-league win over Argyle (Argyle, NY).
