Wisconsin School for the Deaf Firebirds (Delavan, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Illinois School for the Deaf Tigers (Jacksonville, IL), 23-20 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wisconsin School for the Deaf upgrades its record to 1-8 on the season. The Firebirds travel to Kansas School for the Deaf (Olathe, KS) to clash with the Jackrabbits in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Jackrabbits go into the bout with a record of 7-1. Kansas School for the Deaf won 62-32 in their recent non-league bout against Guadalupe Centers (Kansas City, MO)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Kansas School for the Deaf Jackrabbits (Olathe, KS) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 21. Illinois School for the Deaf will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Jackrabbits go into the bout with a 7-1 record after their 62-32 non-league win over Guadalupe Centers (Kansas City, MO).
