The Rock Creek Mustangs basketball team (St. George, KS), dropped 40-24 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Independence Bulldogs (Independence, KS)
The Bulldogs now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverton for a non-league battle on Monday, January 23. Independence will battle a Rams team coming off a 51-32 non-league loss to Neodesha (Neodesha, KS). The Rams record now stands at 6-4.
The Mustangs (9-2) will now prepare for their battle against Ottawa (Ottawa, KS). The Cyclones come into the non-league battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Ottawa dropped by Silver Lake (Silver Lake, KS), 59-32, in a non-league battle.
