Pine-Richland Rams (Gibsonia, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Knoch Knights (Saxonburg, PA), 61-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pine-Richland upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Rams travel to Montour (McKees Rocks, PA) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Monday, January 23. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 5-10. Montour won 63-42 in their recent non-league bout against Central Valley (Monaca, PA)

Next up, the Knights play the Highlands Golden Rams (Natrona Heights, PA) in a WPIAL 4A 1 bout, on Monday, January 23. Knoch will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Golden Rams go into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 49-35 league loss to North Catholic (Cranberry Township, PA).
