The Masuk Panthers basketball team (Monroe, CT), was overwhelmed 57-32 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT)
The Panthers now possess a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brookfield for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 24. Pomperaug will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 61-21 league win over Bunnell (Stratford, CT). The Bobcats record now stands at 8-5.
The Panthers (7-6) will now prepare for their battle against Newtown (Newtown, CT). The Nighthawks come into the Southwest - Patriot battle with a 9-2 record. In their last battle, Newtown trounced Greenwich (Greenwich, CT), 47-32, in a non-league battle.
