Ponca Indians (Ponca, NE) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Walthill Blujays (Walthill, NE), 64-18 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Ponca upgrades its record to 14-1 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Cedar Catholic (Hartington, NE) to confront the Trojans in a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 24. The Trojans come into the battle with a record of 14-2.

The Blujays (2-11) will now prepare for their battle against Tri County Northeast (Emerson, NE). The Wolfpack come into the non-league battle with a 3-12 record. In their last battle, Tri County Northeast was overwhelmed by Wakefield (Wakefield, NE), 65-20, in a non-league battle.
