The Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Renville County West Jaguars to 35 in the Knights non-league victory on Friday.

The Knights now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeview for a A Section 3 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Russell-Tyler-Ruthton will battle a Lakers team coming off a 49-47 league loss to Dawson-Boyd (Dawson, MN). The Lakers record now stands at 4-10.

The Jaguars (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Lac qui Parle Valley (Madison, MN). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 12-3 record.
