Southwest Christian School Eagles (Fort Worth, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Trinity Christian Trojans (Addison, TX), 43-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Southwest Christian School upgrades its record to 9-12 on the season. The Eagles host Midland Christian (Midland, TX) to clash with the Mustangs in a TAPPS 5A District 1 bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 7-19. Midland Christian lost 47-36 in their recent league bout against All Saints (Fort Worth, TX)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Parish Episcopal Panthers (Dallas, TX) in a TAPPS 6A District 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Trinity Christian will attempt to move on its 8-16 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 18-7 record after their 54-34 league loss to John Paul II (Plano, TX).
