The Brother Rice Warriors trounced the visiting Wayne Memorial Zebras ice hockey squad by a count of 8-2 in Friday's non-league bout.
With the victory, Brother Rice moves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Trenton (Trenton, MI) to face the Trojans in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Trenton lost 4-1 in their recent non-league bout against Grosse Pointe North (Grosse Pointe, MI)
The Zebras now sport a 6-18 record. They take the field next when they host South Lyon for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. Wayne Memorial will face a Lions squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Northville (Northville, MI). The Lions record now stands at 0-4.
