The Fleming Island Golden Eagles (Orange Park, FL) basketball knocked off the host Clay Blue Devils (Green Cove Springs, FL), 52-43 in Friday's non-league test.
The Golden Eagles (13-6) will now prepare for their test against Joshua Christian Academy (Jacksonville, FL). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Joshua Christian Academy notched a victory over Matanzas (Palm Coast, FL), 52-12, in a non-league test.
The Blue Devils now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Kenny for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 24. Clay will encounter a Crusaders squad coming off a 55-41 non-league loss to Potter's House Christian (Jacksonville, FL). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-2.
