Florida High School Basketball - Cypress Creek can't hold off Lake Howell

The Lake Howell Silver Hawks basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Cypress Creek Bears to 52 in the Silver Hawks non-league triumph on Friday.

The Silver Hawks now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Edgewater for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31.

The Bears (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against Wekiva (Apopka, FL). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Wekiva nudged Colonial (Orlando, FL), 48-43, in a non-league contest.
