Illinois High School Basketball - Grant Park nips St. Anne

Grant Park Dragons (Grant Park, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting St. Anne Cardinals (St. Anne, IL), 33-26 in a league bout.
With the win, Grant Park upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Dragons travel to Illinois Lutheran (Crete, IL) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 2-11.
Next up, the Cardinals play the Clifton Central Comets (Clifton, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 21. St. Anne will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Comets go into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 49-45 league loss to Gardner-South Wilmington (Gardner, IL).
