The Waldron Mohawks (Waldron, IN) basketball nipped the visiting Hauser Jets (Hope, IN), 39-38 in Friday's league contest.

The Mohawks now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bethesda Christian for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21. Waldron will battle a Patriots team coming off a 35-31 non-league win over Faith Christian (Lafayette, IN). The Patriots record now stands at 2-0.

The Jets (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Batesville (Batesville, IN). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 8-5 record.
