New York High School Basketball - Peru tops Moriah

Peru Nighthawks (Peru, NY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Moriah Vikings (Port Henry, NY), 47-39 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Peru upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Nighthawks host Northeastern Clinton (Champlain, NY) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 0-2.
Next up, the Vikings play the Ticonderoga Sentinels (Ticonderoga, NY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. Moriah will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record.
