Strasburg Indians (Strasburg, CO) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Platte Valley Broncos (Kersey, CO), 45-41 in a league bout.
With the victory, Strasburg upgrades its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Indians host Byers (Byers, CO) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 0-2. Byers lost 52-40 in their recent non-league bout against Denver Christian (Denver, CO)
Next up, the Broncos play the Berthoud Spartans (Berthoud, CO) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 30. Platte Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record.
