In Friday's non-league battle, the host Walden Grove Red Wolves soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Canyon del Oro Dorados.
The Red Wolves (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Rio Rico (Rio Rico, AZ). The Hawks come into the 4A Gila battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Rio Rico was nudged by Flowing Wells (Tucson, AZ), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
