The Polytechnic Parrots held off the visiting Eastern Hills Highlanders soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Friday's non-league match.
The Parrots now sport a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Trimble Tech for a 5A Region 1 District 6 match on Tuesday, January 24. Polytechnic will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to Rider (Wichita Falls, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-6.
With the loss, Eastern Hills drops to 2-3 on the season. The Highlanders travel to Western Hills (Fort Worth, TX) to encounter the Cougars in a 4A Region 1 District 7 match on Tuesday, January 24. The Cougars come into the match with a record of 7-2. Western Hills won 2-1 in their recent non-league match against Azle (Azle, TX)
