Anamosa Raiders (Anamosa, IA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting North Cedar Knights (Stanwood, IA), 64-52 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Anamosa upgrades its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Raiders host Bellevue (Bellevue, IA) to play the Comets in a River Valley battle on Tuesday, January 23. The Comets come into the battle with a record of 8-4.

The Knights (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against Easton Valley (Preston, IA). The come into the non-league battle with a 1-14 record. In their last battle, Easton Valley was toppled by Warren (Warren, IL), 59-42, in a non-league battle.
