North Carolina High School Basketball - Atkins tipped by Shining Light Academy

In Saturday's non-league match, the host Shining Light Academy Knights basketball team scored a tight 81-76 triumph over the Atkins Camels.

In their next game, the Knights meet the Guilford Home Educators Heat (Guilford, NC) in a Freelance match, on Tuesday, January 23. Shining Light Academy will attempt to better on its 12-2 season record.

With the defeat, Atkins moves to 4-13 on the year. The Camels travel to Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC) to meet the Golden Eagles in a 3A Mid-State match on Friday, January 26. The Golden Eagles enter the match with a record of 13-2.
