The Aurora East Tomcats basketball team (Aurora, IL), was overwhelmed 80-51 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL)
The Mustangs now possess a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Geneva for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 23. Metea Valley will confront a Vikings team coming off a 51-34 non-league win over Antioch (Antioch, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 11-9.
The Tomcats (6-14) will now prepare for their battle against Bartlett (Bartlett, IL). The Hawks come into the Upstate Eight battle with a 11-10 record. In their last battle, Bartlett trounced St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL), 62-59, in a non-league battle.
