In Saturday's non-league outing, the Devils Lake Firebirds (Devils Lake, ND) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Beulah Miners (Beulah, ND), by a margin of 84-48.
The Firebirds (11-2) will now prepare for their outing against Carrington (Carrington, ND). The Cardinals go into the A Region 2 outing with a 1-10 record. In their last outing, Carrington was trounced by North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland/Munich/Starkweather] (Cando, ND), 66-28, in a non-league outing.
The Miners now own a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Trinity for a A Region 4 bout on Tuesday, January 23. Beulah will play a Titans squad coming off a 56-36 league win over Hazen (Hazen, ND). The Titans record now stands at 7-4.
