West Shore Wildcats (Melbourne, FL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Brevard Christian War Eagles (West Melbourne, FL), 49-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Shore upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Satellite (Satellite Beach, FL) to clash with the Scorpions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Scorpions go into the bout with a record of 12-4. Satellite lost 52-38 in their recent non-league bout against Cocoa Beach (Cocoa Beach, FL)

Next up, the War Eagles clash with the Melbourne Central Catholic Hustlers (Melbourne, FL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 22. Brevard Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Hustlers go into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 60-46 non-league loss to Lincoln Park Academy (Fort Pierce, FL).
