Caddo Bruins (Caddo, OK) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Rock Creek Mustangs (Bokchito, OK), 48-41 in a league bout.

With the victory, Caddo upgrades its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Bruins host Kiowa (Kiowa, OK) to play the Cowboys in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Cowboys come into the bout with a record of 13-7. Kiowa lost 45-37 in their recent league bout against Stuart (Stuart, OK)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Boswell Scorpions (Boswell, OK) in a Bryan County bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Rock Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 15-5 season record. The Scorpions come into the bout with a 10-11 record after their 43-31 league win over Tushka (Atoka, OK).
