In their next game, the Lakers face the Graves County Eagles (Mayfield, KY) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 23. Calloway County will attempt to move on its 6-8 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 14-4 record after their 61-18 non-league win over Hickman County (Clinton, KY).

With the defeat, Humboldt moves to 10-8 on the year. The Vikings travel to Halls (Halls, TN) to face the Tigers in a 1A District 13 game on Monday, January 22. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 3-13.
