With the victory, Maxwell upgrades its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Wagon Mound (Wagon Mound, NM) to confront the Trojans in a A District 5 battle on Thursday, January 25. The Trojans come into the battle with a record of 1-3. Wagon Mound won 56-31 in their recent non-league battle against Tierra Encantada (Santa Fe, NM)

The Grizzlies (3-12) will now prepare for their battle against Mesilla Valley Christian School (Las Cruces, NM). The SonBlazers come into the non-league battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Mesilla Valley Christian School was overwhelmed by Mescalero Apache (Mescalero, NM), 47-44, in a non-league battle.
