In their next game, the Sabers face the North Scott Lancers (Eldridge, IA) in a Mississippi game, on Tuesday, January 23. Central Clinton will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Lancers enter the game with a 12-2 record after their 65-56 non-league win over Milwaukee Academy of Science (Milwaukee, WI).

With the defeat, Iowa City moves to 5-13 on the year. The Little hawks host Linn-Mar (Marion, IA) to battle the Lions in a Mississippi Valley battle on Tuesday, January 23. The Lions come into the battle with a record of 9-7. Linn-Mar lost 52-47 in their recent league battle against Iowa City West (Iowa City, IA)
