In Saturday's non-league outing, the Christ the King Gladiators (Chicago, IL) basketball squad edged the host Waukegan Bulldogs (Waukegan, IL), by a count of 73-72.
The Gladiators (19-3) will now prepare for their outing against Aurora Christian (Aurora, IL). The Eagles go into the Chicagoland Christian outing with a 14-3 record. In their last outing, Aurora Christian held off Princeton (Princeton, IL), 70-69, in a non-league outing.
The Bulldogs now hold a 12-9 record. They play next when they host Mundelein for a North Suburban outing on Tuesday, January 23. Waukegan will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 55-50 non-league win over Palatine (Palatine, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-14.
