In Saturday's non-league outing, the Park Center Pirates (Brooklyn Park, MN) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Eau Claire Memorial Old Abes (Eau Claire, WI), by a count of 83-58.
The Pirates (16-1) will now prepare for their outing against Maple Grove (Maple Grove, MN). The Crimson go into the AAAA Section 5 outing with a 8-6 record. In their last outing, Maple Grove smashed Osseo (Osseo, MN), 59-58, in a league outing.
The Old Abes now hold a 12-3 record. They play next when they host Superior for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 23. Eau Claire Memorial will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 80-59 non-league win over Cloquet (Cloquet, MN). The Spartans record now stands at 14-3.
