The Washburn Cardinals basketball team (Washburn, ND), dropped 65-52 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier Rangers (Edgeley, ND)
The Rangers now possess a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host LaMoure/Litchville-Marion for a B District 2 battle on Tuesday, January 23. Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier will confront a Loboes team coming off a 61-44 league loss to Ellendale (Ellendale, ND). The Loboes record now stands at 5-5.
The Cardinals (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Garrison (Garrison, ND). The Troopers come into the B District 6 battle with a 11-3 record. In their last battle, Garrison dropped by Glen Ullin/Hebron (Glen Ullin, ND), 69-57, in a non-league battle.
