The Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter Imperials basketball team (Napoleon, ND), was overwhelmed 68-42 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Ellendale Cardinals (Ellendale, ND)
The Cardinals now possess a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Strasburg/Zeeland for a B District 2 battle on Saturday, January 27.
The Imperials (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock (Linton, ND). The Lions come into the B District 2 battle with a 11-1 record. In their last battle, Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock trounced Medina/Pingree-Buchanan (Medina, ND), 60-46, in a league battle.
