The Frederick Douglass Broncos (Lexington, KY) basketball nipped the host Madison Central Indians (Richmond, KY), 56-51 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Broncos (12-6) will now prepare for their test against Henry Clay (Lexington, KY). The Blue Devils go into the District 42 test with a 16-1 record.
The Indians now own a 7-15 record. They play next when they host Lincoln County for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 23. Madison Central will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 62-59 league win over Boyle County (Danville, KY). The Patriots record now stands at 9-8.
