Washington High School Basketball - Overlake tipped by Granite Falls

Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Granite Falls Tigers (Granite Falls, WA) and the visiting Overlake Owls (Redmond, WA), saw Granite Falls's basketball squad hold off Overlake by a tally of 68-65.

With the victory, Granite Falls improves its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Mount Vernon Christian (Mount Vernon, WA) to confront the Hurricanes in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 22. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a record of 6-10. Mount Vernon Christian lost 54-51 in their recent league challenge against Coupeville (Coupeville, WA)

Next up, the Owls confront the King's Knights (Seattle, WA) in a 1A Emerald Sound challenge, on Wednesday, January 24. Overlake will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record.
