The Guthrie Bluejays (Guthrie, OK) basketball felled the host Perkins-Tryon Demons (Perkins, OK), 64-48 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bluejays (14-2) will now prepare for their test against Shawnee (Shawnee, OK). The Wolves go into the 5A District 1 test with a 6-7 record.
The Demons now own a 13-1 record. They play next when they travel to Kiefer for a Tulsa Seven test on Tuesday, January 23. Perkins-Tryon will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 45-43 non-league win over Metro Christian (Tulsa, OK). The Trojans record now stands at 10-5.
