Texas High School Basketball - Heritage Christian Academy knocked off by Providence Academy

The Providence Academy Lions basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Heritage Christian Academy Lions to 30 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Lions now sport a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Winston School of Dallas for a TAPPS 1A District 3 contest on Tuesday, January 23. Providence Academy will meet a Eagles team coming off a 75-34 league win over Westwood (Dallas, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 2-10.
The Lions (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against St. Paul's Prep (Arlington, TX). The Lions enter the TCAF District 2 contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, St. Paul's Prep was outscored by Victory Christian Academy (Decatur, TX), 96-22, in a league contest.
