Oneida Express (Oneida, NY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Indian River Warriors (Philadelphia, NY), 56-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Oneida upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Express travel to Camden (Camden, NY) to clash with the Blue Devils in a Section 3 Tri-Valley - Pioneer bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 10-2. Camden lost 85-46 in their recent league bout against Rome Free Academy (Rome, NY)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the South Jefferson Spartans (Adams, NY) in a Section 3 Frontier B bout, on Monday, January 22. Indian River will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 58-40 non-league loss to Central Valley Academy (Ilion, NY).
