In Saturday's league outing, the Randolph Ghosts (Randolph, VT) basketball squad edged the visiting Lamoille Lancers (Hyde Park, VT), by a count of 58-52.

The Ghosts (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against Thetford Academy (Thetford, VT). The Panthers go into the Capital outing with a 11-0 record. In their last outing, Thetford Academy held off Lake Region (Orleans, VT), 39-28, in a league outing.

The Lancers now hold a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Hazen for a Mountain outing on Wednesday, January 24. Lamoille will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 61-37 non-league win over Spaulding (Barre, VT). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-2.
