The Lanier Longhorns basketball team (Sugar Hill, GA), dropped 68-55 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host North Gwinnett Bulldogs (Suwanee, GA)
The Bulldogs now possess a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berkmar for a AAAAAAA Region 7 battle on Tuesday, January 23. North Gwinnett will battle a Patriots team coming off a 60-48 league win over Discovery (Lawrenceville, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 15-5.
The Longhorns (7-11) will now prepare for their battle against North Forsyth (Cumming, GA). The Raiders come into the AAAAAA Region 8 battle with a 5-14 record. In their last battle, North Forsyth prevailed over Apalachee (Winder, GA), 52-40, in a league battle.
