The Larkin Royals basketball team (Elgin, IL), dropped 82-68 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL)
The Fighting Saints now possess a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Naperville Central for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 24. St. Charles East will confront a Redhawks team coming off a 64-47 non-league win over Columbus (Waterloo, IA). The Redhawks record now stands at 8-14.
The Royals (3-17) will now prepare for their battle against West Chicago (West Chicago, IL). The Wildcats come into the Upstate Eight battle with a 5-16 record. In their last battle, West Chicago dropped by Addison Trail (Addison, IL), 49-46, in a non-league battle.
